Sal Mangano, President of Mangano Family Funeral Homes, awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Allison Park, a graduating senior from Half Hollow Hills High School West, at the Dix Hills Fire Department’s monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 5.

Park, a proud member of a firefighting family in the Dix Hills Fire Department, plans to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a Physician and is honored to receive this scholarship that will help further her educational journey.
The scholarship is part of the Mangano Family Funeral Homes’ ongoing initiative to give back to the community and foster the growth of future leaders. Sal Mangano wholeheartedly understands the importance of community support and is dedicated to helping students achieve their dreams.
“Allison comes from a firefighting family that has served the community with distinction and she has followed in those footsteps by setting a remarkable example for her peers,” said Sal Mangano, President of Mangano Family Funeral Homes. “As a strong advocate for higher education and an avid supporter of local fire departments that serve so honorably, I am proud to support Allison with this scholarship, recognizing her academic performance and passion for public service.”
